Hell on Wheels, Preventing an Attack in Food and Agricultural Transportation

The Agricultural and Food Transporters Conference will sponsor a security focused educational session on October 18th in Boston at the 2005 Management Conference and Exhibition of the American Trucking Associations, at the Boston Marriott Hotel Copley Place. This session, "Hell on Wheels, Preventing an Attack in Food and Agricultural Transportation" will be presented by Dr. Rocco Casagrande, Managing Director, Gryphon Scientific, LLC. Dr. Casagrande is an expert in biological and agricultural terrorism. He was a biological weapons inspector in Iraq and chief of the U.N. biological analysis laboratory in Iraq. He has, for the past five years, concentrated on the problem of agricultural bioterrorism and the factors that make many terrorist groups unwilling to execute a biological attack on people, but actually motivate these groups to launch a biological attack on agricultural commodities and food.
